探索频道的全球频道
探索频道覆盖全球超过160个国家、4亿5千万个家庭。探索频道及其同系列频道均在多个国家为多个版本频道配上字幕和当地语言。亚洲探索频道在亚洲由亚洲探索网络经营。除了原有的探索频道亚洲版，亚洲探索网络还开设了探索频道台湾版、探索频道澳大利亚版、探索频道新西兰版、探索频道日本版、探索频道韩国版和探索频道印度版。探索频道亚洲除了与其他同系列频道一样，为各个版本配上当地字幕外，部份探索频道节目更配上当地语言，以丽音广播节目，包括翻译成广东话、普通话、日语、韩语等。探索频道亚洲的节目除了与探索频道美国一样，播放有关机械和流行科学有关的节目之外，还会播放由探索通信制作给不同美国同系列频道的节目，这是因为亚洲探索网络的频道数目远较美国探索网络的少。另外，一些新的特辑如空中客车A380的节目《空中巨人：打造空中客车A380》也会先在探索频道播放，再于其他频道重放。与探索频道美国分别最大的是探索频道亚洲会播放亚洲区的专辑，如《台湾人物志》（Portraits Taiwan）系列、《新加坡的历史》（The History of Singapore）系列和其他中华文化节目等，这些节目在其他探索频道播放比率是较少的。

国家地理频道和探索频道的区别有哪些

discovery 和national geography channel 是什么关系
探索频道（Discovery Channel）是由探索通信公司（Discovery Communications）于1985年创立的。探索频道主要播放流行科学、崭新科技和历史考古的纪录片。
国家地理频道National Geographic Channel，是由美国国家地理学会于1997年成立的一个制作与播放以自然、科学、文化与历史纪录片的付费电视频道。
两个没什么关系，但都有科教纪录片，但个人觉得DC的节目远比NGC的节目娱乐性强，NGC更加科教性，感觉是那种很严肃的节目。
