1982～1986年在西北农林科技大学就学，1986～1994年在宁夏农林科学院工作，
1994～1997年在中国农业大学获理学硕士学位，1997～2000年在中国农业大学获理学博士学位；2000年07月，到清华大学生物系做博士后；2002年09月博士后出站后到中国农业大学工作；2002年09月～至今，在中国农业大学理学院从事教学和科研工作。
主讲课程主讲研究生课程：《农药分子生物学》、《转基因农产品安全评价》；本科生课程：《转基因食品安全评价》、《分子生物学》
主要研究方向与项目研究方向农药毒理与生物技术。
科研项目国家“863”计划重大项目（2006AA 10A108）；国家“863”计划项目（2008AA10Z127）等；林业引进国际先进科技技术项目（2008-4-31）；科技部“林业重大生物灾害防控新技术产业化与示范”（2006BAD09A00）；农业部公益项目“恶性外来入侵植物紫茎泽兰防控与利用研究”（200803021-40）等多项项目。
